TESTIMONIALS

World-famous filmmaker and comedian Kevin Smith wants you to hire Sav. This is (surprisingly!) not a joke.

When Sav joined our team as a producer, it was truly a turning point for “Out Here In Kansas.” He organized important shoots. His production notes were invaluable. Most important, he ultimately helped shape the story into a documentary that the entire team will be proud of forever. Sav’s connections in the film world helped us screen at numerous festivals we wouldn’t have gotten into otherwise, and he continues to be a champion for “Out Here In Kansas” to this day.
What truly blows me away about Sav is how prolific and professional he is at such a young age. I love his movies and I cannot imagine how deeply his energy and ideas will impact the filmmaking industry for many years to come.

When I think of someone with tenacity, I immediately think of Sav. He is not any one thing, he is many expressions of creativity and his curiosity is what makes him special. Sav develops relationships and inroads wherever he goes and this has resulted in his being a filmmaker with a film at a festival, to a programmer for a festival/a guest judge/panelist/etc. Sav optimizes every opportunity to the fullest. In the time I’ve known him he has been a highly recommended crew person who could be trusted to do any job with enthusiasm, he has been a creator expressing his stories in a film medium as a writer and director, he has been an activist - using his content to expand minds, he has been a guest speaker - openly sharing stories about his experiences entering and participating in film festivals across the country. He is highly motivated and has been accepted to prestigious programs with Tribeca, Adobe, TED, Sundance and more. It will be fun to see where he lands next and wherever that is he will shine brightly and be an asset to any team/project.
